A random zoom on the map placed me near a loose cluster of about twenty avatars in the Monema sim. Through ban lines and ridiculous lag I managed to locate them in a mall that I believe is called City of Monema.
The first avatar I found was an animal in a cage with the hover text "money: 5". I'm not sure why he was in a cage, but he was apparently camping.
Next I found a group of four avatars in a store, one of them looking like Cookie Monster, wearing a City Security tag. Here's what they were up to...
The store sells a Windows program that lets you run multiple avatars from one console, for L$2000 per avatar. By asking I determined that two of the avatars were the owner demonstrating his wares, and the other two avatars were a customer who had just purchased the program and signed in an alt. They were kinda busy and didn't answer my next question, so I went in search of the other avatars.
I found another City Security avatar, probably another bot run by the bot shop owner, who also seems to own the mall. The shops are rented, and the renters apparently don't benefit from the bot program because they've hired campers. I find several of them, including two that seem to be sharing the same camping job, and neither is being paid (hover text says 'earned so far: 0'). Most of the campers are animated, mopping the concrete.
I can't actually find some of the avatars on my minimap, but I think I get the idea. Other than the two humans in the bot store and one customer who flies through while I'm here, I think all of these dots are bots of the owner and campers hired by the renters.
